Winter Reading Challenge 2026
For Children, Teens, & Adults
January 12 - February 27, 2026
Challenge yourself to read this winter.
Children in Pre-K to Grade 5:
Log how many minutes you read each day and earn badges. 1 badge = 1 hour of reading. For every 2 hours you read, you will get a small prize and a raffle ticket towards the raffle prize of your choice! The last day to log minutes is February 27th. The winners of the raffle prizes will be drawn on March 2nd.
All prizes must be picked up in person.
Teens in 6th to 12th grade:
Log how many minutes you read each day and earn badges. 1 badge = 1 hour of reading. For every hour you read you will get a raffle ticket towards the raffle prize of your choice. Read 10 hours to receive a completion prize! The last day to log minutes is February 27th. The winner of the raffle prize will be drawn on March 2nd.
All prizes must be picked up in person.
Adults:​
Challenge yourself to read 8 books this winter! Once you have read 8 books, return your reading log to the library by Friday, February 27 to receive a cozy winter reading prize.
