Our Mission
The mission of the Friends of the River Vale Library is to enhance the library by providing financial support for programming and special projects which benefit the citizens of River Vale.

To our Dear Friends and Neighbors,
We extend our deepest thanks and appreciation to all our friends and neighbors who have generously supported us in the past. Through your generosity, we have been able to successfully meet our stated mission to enhance the River Vale Free Public Library through the resources of people, programming and financial assistance for library improvements.

2023 Friends Programs:
• Monthly - First Friday Programming, Book Discussion Group and Garden Club
• 2023 Summer Reading Program from Children, Teens, and Adults
• Children and Young Adult after-school programming
• Special Events such as lectures, concerts and bus trips

We encourage your participation, both through your financial generosity and your personal involvement. So, whether it’s our lively book discussions, informative programs, special events, or fundraising activities – we invite you to attend our monthly meetings, make new Friends and participate in the growth of River Vale’s center for free information and personal enrichment – your local public library.
