The River Vale Free Public Library is a member of the Bergen County Cooperative Library System (BCCLS). This consortium of 77 public libraries delivers quality library service to the general public through sharing of books and other materials, purchasing, maintaining and sharing a computer system and providing common access to the cooperative's data bases. ENVISIONING A FUTURE EXPANSION TO MEET THE NEEDS OF THE RIVER VALE COMMUNITY
Community Room Redesign and Expansion
The River Vale Public Library is a popular destination for our residents!
Every year the number of people utilizing the building continues to rise, limiting our ability to provide an optimum library setting that meets our community's needs. The Library Board of Trustees has created a Master Plan to reconfigure and expand our current Community Room so that our residents can attend library and community programs in a multi-functional space. The plan also includes much needed maintenance for the building and an upgrade to the library's grounds.
